A lot of celebrities take off their clothes to get some extra attention, but most of the time their looking for fame and fortune, not to promote a charity. Recently, however, three fabulous women have been baring their breasts for a fabulous cause. A lot of people think that stripping and similar forms of sensual exhibitionism objectify women. But what if that act of erotic expression is the woman’s choice?

To objectify something is to depersonalize it. Stripping, in general, probably does depersonalize women. It is, most often, not something an audience watches, because they care about who the performer is. However, just because a woman is being objectified by her audience, or by her viewers, does not mean that stripping is a bad thing. Objectification is not a moral judgment.
