I just met this really awesome girl. Not only is she insanely hot, she’s also smart and funny, and she’s totally into the same video games that I am. In short, she’s almost perfect. Why almost? Because on our second date, she told me she had tested positive for genital herpes. She said she’d never had any symptoms or anything, but now I’m kind of freaked out and not sure I want to date her anymore. What should I do?

Dear Darestars Diva,I wanted to get my girlfriend flowers for Valentines Day, but when I brought them to her house (she lives with her parents), she refused to take them and started yelling at me. You see, I’m a girl too, and my girlfriend isn’t out to her parents. I love her, and I want to be with her all the time, but I’m finding dating a girl who’s still in the closet to be really frustrating. I just want to be able to show my love to her, and I don’t understand why it has to be this hard! I came out to my parents years ago and although it was awkward for a while, everything turned out fine. Why can’t she just grow up already and leave the closet for the coats?
